FAITH, HOPE and LOVE:

Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. ISAIAH 26:2 KJV.

Afterwards as they lay at table he was manifested to the eleven, and reproached them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen him risen. MARK 16:14 Darby translation.

And the children of Dan took what Michaias had made, and the priest that he had, and they came to Laisa, to a people quiet and secure; and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire. JUDGES 18:27 Brenton translation of the Septuagint.

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. MATTHEW 22:27 KJV.

CREATION:

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was (Or, *became) without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the face of the waters.
3 And God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light. 4 And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. GENESIS 1:1-5 RSV

EXCERPT(S) FROM: THE IMITATION OF CHRIST (Book 1 chapter 15.)

"Without Love, external work produces nothing, but whatever is done for Love, however small and contemptible, becomes wholly fruitful."

"O, he who has a spark of True Love should surely feel all earthly things to be utterly void."

THANKSGIVING:

Thankyou Lord for the rain that you give to the Earth and fruitful seasons which "fill our hearts with food and gladness". (see Acts 14:17) And thankyou also for the men and women whose lives are dedicated to agriculture and farming. Please bless them in their work and give them an appreciation that all they help to produce - crops and livestock - were your idea and are created by you for us. Please Lord, touch the lives of those farmers that don't know you so they may come to Repentance and join in praising the God of Creation. Amen.

Thine are the heavens, the earth also is thine; the world and its fulness, *thou* hast founded them. PSALM 89:11 Darby translation.
