TODAY'S BIBLE TEXTS:

42 But Jesus called them and said to them, You know that they who are accounted rulers over the nations exercise lordship over them. And their great ones exercise authority on them.
43 But it shall not be so among you. But whoever desires to be great among you, let him be your servant [G1249 Diakonos].
44 And whoever of you desires to become first, he shall be slave [G1401 Doulos] of all.
45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. MARK 10

1 To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted themselves, they have done abominable works: there is none that doeth good.
2 Jehovah looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
3 They have all gone aside, they are together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, not even one.
4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, eating up my people as they eat bread? They call not upon Jehovah.
5 There were they in great fear; for God is in the generation of the righteous.
6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the afflicted, because Jehovah was his refuge.
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When Jehovah turneth again the captivity of his people, Jacob shall be glad, Israel shall rejoice. PSALM 14

TODAY'S CHRISTIAN TESTIMONYS:

  • "The primary business I must attend to every day is to fellowship with the Lord."
  • "It often astonishes me that I did not see the importance of meditation upon Scripture earlier in my Christian life. As the outward man is not fit for work for any length of time unless he eats, so it is with the inner man. What is the food for the inner man? Not prayer, but the word of God - not the simple reading of the word of God so that it only passes through our minds just as water runs through a pipe. No, we must consider what we read, ponder over it and apply it to our hearts."
From The Autobiography of George Muller.

TODAY'S PRAYER:

Lord, Spring is in the air, brighter days and budding plants. Thank you for this time of year and for the creation we see around us. Thank you for THIS day and for the Fellowship I can have with you in it.
